The hospital is growing about 15 % per year. This year we will do over 2700 deliveris and see about 18000 outpatient consultations.
Because of the increasing number of outpatient consultations we felt that a new Outpatient consultation department was needed. We have devided to utilize the unused space in the East wing. The Hospital has drawn up plans which will give us a new outpatient department with 6 examining rooms - also a new reception area with central archives.
We will increase the space available for the laboratory and X-ray department. There is also a provision for a teaching and a meeting area.
The total cost of this is estimated at $ 750,000.00. We have applied to the French Goverment and the European Union for funding for this project.
